I've never been one to like the cheesy mommy jewelry that mass retailers sell around the holidays and mother's day... but lately I've been wanting to find something personalized to wear that reminds me of my lil' guy that should be arriving in 45days or less. I LOVE the necklace Rachel Zoe has been spotted wearing that has the name of her son on it! Something like this I could rock. Now I just need to find a place to order it from!!! My Style Seems to Be Changing...

I'm not sure if it's age, pregnancy or what... but my personal style seems to be changing to more of a classic look. While my heart will always long for everything leather, studded, spiked or adorned with skulls... lately I've been craving a more polished lady-like look. Loving Olivia Palermo's look here...

April Showers...

Lately these seem to be in constant rotation. Normally I keep a pair in my car for unexpected showers... but lately the faint smell of rubber seems to bother me. So their new home is beside the back door.

I have the urge to buy tulips every time I got to the store. I think I have hit the nesting stage for my pregnancy a little early. I suddenly have the urge to redecorate, clean obsessively and start back working on my cook book I have yet to self-publish. So much to do… so little time to do it ALL before Baby Emerson comes!

During an impromptu shopping trip to Nashville yesterday (pictures to follow) I discovered this little gem at JcPenney for only $40 while searching for the MNG by Mango Collection. This floor skimming chiffon tie-dye maxi dress embellished with rhinestones and open-shoulders is by Allen B. by Allen Schwartz. This Blog...

Originally when I created this blog it was a school project that I had planned to keep going as a second blog one that I could make more personal. I had planned to share my tips/tricks and life lessons that I have learned along the way to becoming the fabulous small town girl I knew I was meant to be. As my life quickly became overly busy I found it near exhausting  trying to photograph daily activities to share. In a way I feel like I have let both my readers and myself down (when thinking about the original goal for this blog). So.... from this moment I'm going to share more stuff about my personal life as well as all of those tips/tricks and life lessons I had planned to share all along. With that being said I will still post normal fashion post as well... you can also check out my other blog HERE for the latest in fashion news and what I'm currently obsessing over.
